John Pelham

 -Sarah Kay Bierle works in the public history field, focusing on education
and battlefield preservation. 

-A graduate from Thomas Edison State University with a B.A. in History, she has spent years researching, writing, and speaking about the American Civil War, helping audiences gain a stronger appreciation for the accounts of real people caught in the struggles of the past. 

-She has written essays and seven books, including her two newest, Glorious Courage and Decisions at Chancellorsville.

-Currently, Sarah continues to research and hike battlefields, often studying
military and civilian interactions or pausing to continue documenting lesser
known accounts in the Shenandoah Valley
